A few weeks ago I read a posting on Facebook from a very nice lady I did not know pleading with me and anyone else who would read her post to make sure I put the Christ in Christmas and to please not use the X-Mas abbreviation in any Christmas cards, notes, emails, etc., during the holidays.

Keep the ‘mas’ in ‘Xmas’

Being from Arkansas means at least one thing — you’re going to run across some strange stuff from time to time.
For that reason, we at First Arkansas News have started the soon-to-be-famous “Just what the hell is going on here?” photography series. The goal, of course, is to find some odd ball photos from around the state, post them and (in most cases) make fun of them.
