Just last month we posted a story about former Springdale High School Quarterback Mitch Mustain being arrested in Los Angeles.
At the time, it appeared he would would face felony charges for allegedly selling Adderall — a controlled substance — online to an undercover officer. A few weeks after that, we posted another story stating it appeared Mustain would deal with a misdemeanor charge for allegedly passing off something else that is not a controlled substance as Aderall. Does Mitch Mustain still have a shot at the NFL?

Just when it looks like Mitch Mustain’s career has come to an end, the plucky Springdale native’s name resurfaces.
It seems that there are some who still view the former Arkansas Razorbacks and USC Trojans quarterback as a viable NFL draft pick. Robert Wayerski, in this post for Bleacher Report, suggests that Mustain would be a good fit for the struggling San Francisco 49ers.

Mitch Mustain arrested

KTHV reported today that Mitch Mustain, former Arkansas Razorbacks and USC Trojans quarterback, was arrested Tuesday in Los Angeles and charged with a felony.
You can see a copy of Mustain’s booking information from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s office here. That document shows Mustain’s bail was set at $30,000.
KTHV — relying on external sources — reported that Mustain was released on bail and that the felony arrest is connected to allegations that the 22-year-old was selling prescription drugs online. We at First Arkansas News will report more on this story …
