Recipes for a complete Thanksgiving meal? Coming right up!

The lovely and talented Marci Kay Nobles has been typing like a wild woman lately in hopes of passing on some of her favorite Thanksgiving recipes to the good folks who stop in and read First Arkansas News.
First Arkansas News Reporter Jamie Smith had a good idea — why not put all those recipes in one location?
That seemed like a good idea so the following is a list of recipes that will produce a complete Thanksgiving meal. Want to brine a turkey, whip up some Thanksgiving side dishes and include …

A new Thanksgiving side — Burgundy mushrooms

I decided this year that we would try something, my husband is picky eater.
Therefore at Thanksgiving he usually eats turkey and broccoli and cheese casserole and that’s about it. He doesn’t eat mash potatoes, sweet potatoes, dressing or cranberries.
So I thought I would have new side this year, one of his favorites — mushrooms. But not just any mushrooms…
Burgundy Mushrooms
4lbs white button mushrooms
2 sticks butter
1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 liter Red wine
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 cups boiling water
4 whole chicken bouillon cubes
4 whole beef bouillon cubes

Cranberries — one of the most important Thanksgiving side dishes

The most important side dish to Thanksgiving is cranberry sauce.
Just ask my daughter — she loves it so much we’ve taken to buying her a can of her very own. She’s been an absolute fiend for canned cranberry sauce for as long as any of us  can remember.
I, however, like the real stuff so I thought I would share my recipe with you. It’s easy to make, but memorable enough to make that Thanksgiving meal something truly special.
Chunky Cranberry relish
6 cups of fresh cranberries
1 cup full-bodied red wine (such as …

Thanksgiving side dish — sweet potato praline casserole

My darlin’ husband has asked that I put some Thanksgiving side dishes on here to share with everyone.
So we will start with on of my favorites — sweet potatoes. Or, at least, a dish having something to do with sweet potatoes.
Though my husband prefers his sweet potatoes in a pie shell (editor’s note: like a true Southerner), I like mine in a casserole dish. I hope you all enjoy.
Sweet Potato Praline Casserole
4 whole medium sweet potatoes
1 cup sugar
1 cup milk
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup brown …
