A quick note on 2013 WWDC

 
Apple’s yearly broo-ha-ha began yesterday, June 10.  Geared to the many fine folks that create the gazillion apps available for both the Mac and iPad/iPhone/iPod, many in tech media have been waiting for this conference to get an idea where Apple is headed.  More, to see if Apple can maintain its spot on the top of the tech mountain.  One presenter summed it up nicely by saying, “[Apple] can no longer innovate my arse.”  Sadly, the conference’s success will be rated by the stock market far more than the advances …

Google Now makes debut on iOS

On Monday, Google Search was made available to iPad and iPhone users through the Apple App Store.
Google Search is voice enabled and comes with Google Now, a technology that will learn your search habits, track your appointments on your Google Calendar and flash information at you that is relevant.
