Rogers Attorney Asa Hutchinson is a busy guy and has been for some time. Still, he still finds time to spread the message that attorneys should volunteer some time to make sure that every Arkansans has access the courts.

Raymond Abramson, the Legal Aid of Arkansas Volunteer Attorney of the Year, was appointed to the Arkansas Court of Appeals by Gov. Mike Beebe on Aug. 1.
Abramson, of Clarendon, was named Volunteer Attorney of the Year for his work in Monroe County.
The award, given each year by Legal Aid — a nonprofit corporation providing free legal services to low-income individuals — recognizes outstanding volunteerism and service. Abramson, a three-time winner of the award, continues to excel as a volunteer in support of pro bono services.
