Ah, good old Philip Marlowe — a character dreamed up by the way talented Raymond Chandler. Marlowe was a hardboiled that shared a lot in common with other characters that graced old time radio (OTR), yet he was a bit tougher, a bit more cynical and bit more popular than most competitors.

Weekend OTR – Philip Marlowe: Lady in Mink

Having demonstrated an interest in old time radio (OTR), I’ve decided that few things could be more fun than putting up a weekly show in hopes that people will enjoy them and also develop such a similar fascination with those programs I’ve enjoyed over the years. Every Saturday night, then, I’ll post a new show. Those will remain on this site permanently, so hopefully I’ll eventually develop a pretty good sampler for those who are curious about OTR and liked to learn more about it. The weekly shows …
