So, what’s up with the Thanksgiving OTR series today here at First Arkansas News?
Why, another hardboiled detective show, of course. Specifically, here’s a Thanksgiving-themed episode of Jeff Regan, Investigator for you cats. Regan was played by Jack Webb who found great fame and fortune on radio and television with the Dragnet series. Still, Webb was always entertaining regardless of characters he played, so any Dragnet fans out there ought to love this Jeff Regan program. My, but the weekend just flew by in a hurry, didn’t it?
A couple of days ago, First Arkansas News started posting detective-themed old time radio shows to coincide with a great sale on those programs going on over at OTRCat.com. Indeed, the prices over there on detective shows right now are so great you might fall out of your chair in disbelief.
Well, nothing that extreme, but you can pick up discs stuffed full of MP3s of your favorite shows for, literally, a few cents an episode.
