The work of the Search Committee

Every human is created to be in fellowship with the Creator. As I have written elsewhere, God has promised that we can find Him. He has said that we will find Him when we search for Him with all of our heart. God said that we will find Him when we set our heart and soul to do so. Commitment and effort are required.  If we really want to find God, we will.
God gave us a few suggestions in the Bible.  First, Isaiah 51:1 says, “Listen to me, you who …

The Search Committee

Every member of the congregation should be an active, contributing member of the God search committee.  If this committee serves well, the rest of the church committees become much more effective. David tells us about the benefits of that place in Psalms 91:1-2 “He that dwelleth in the “secret place” of the most High shall abide under the …

Franklin Graham exhorts JBU community to share gospel

SILOAM SPRINGS-When looking at the top half of Franklin Graham’s attire Tuesday, one would see someone dressed in business casual, appropriate for meetings or, in this case, a public presentation. As the eyes travel to his feet, however, one sees black high-top tennis shoes that show another side of Graham, president and CEO of Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
The message Graham shared with an audience at John Brown University in Siloam Springs Tuesday was as simple but honest as his attire. The audience was filled with …
