Donnie Copeland, a Republican from North Little Rock, is running for Arkansas lieutenant governor. He faces Mark Darr in a primary on May 18 and the winner of that race will run against Democrat Shane Broadway in the November elections. Interview with Dustin McDaniel

Arkansas Attorney General is completing his first term in office. The Democrat may not have drawn a “major party” opponent in this year’s elections, but he still expects an independent to jump in and challenge him before November. Still, it seems likely (let’s be honest — very likely) that McDaniel will be around for a second term.
