Police upping patrols as Labor Day nears

Noticed more cops out on the road the last couple of days? It’s not your imagination (or your conscience).
According to a press release from the Arkansas State Police, law enforcement agencies across Arkansas started extending their patrol hours and setting up added sobriety checkpoints Friday and will keep it up through Sept. 5 (the end of Labor Day weekend).
