One thing that we’ve not talked about much here at First Arkansas News is the audio component to our Lum and Abner comic strip.
Donnie Pitchford, the creative genius behind the strip, said he started producing audio interpretations of each episode as a service to the blind. Pitchford is the president of the National Lum and Abner Society and said old time radio programs have held up as a popular form of entertainment for a number of people who are blind.
