Benton/Bryant’s Realtor of the Year thankful for support system

Norma McCullough – named 2011 Realtor of the Year by the Benton/Bryant Realtors Association – said the successes she’s had throughout her career have had a lot to do with her support systems.
“It’s a nice feeling when you’ve got support at home and at your office,” she said.

Plunging for Special Olympics Arkansas

Mitchell Mote, a Benton Realtor and immediate past president of the Benton/Bryant Realtors Association, wanted to start the board’s Special Olympics Arkansas fundraising efforts off right.
What did he do? He jumped in Hurricane Lake on Saturday morning in 33-degree water after presenting area Realtors and affiliated businesses a challenge — he’d hop in the lake if contributors donated some cash.
Realtors and affiliates responded to Mote’s challenge by giving $199.23 to Special Olympics — far exceeding Mote’s initial goal of $100 and getting close to the newer goal of $200. You …

Benton/Bryant Realtors Association launches blog

About a month ago, the Benton/Bryant Realtors Association launched its snazzy, new blog.
That was designed by yours truly as part of my job as association executive for the organization. Our goal with the blog is two provide real estate-related information to consumers (such as housing market reports and news) and details about open houses in Saline and Grant counties.
Also, it has been designed as a way to communicate with area Realtors in that a calendar of events is on the site, big announcements from the Association will be posted there …
