A heck of a lot of things have happened throughout Arkansas this week.
We’ve covered some of those events here at First Arkansas News, but certainly not all of the events followed by Arkansans this week. In the interest of providing a quick summary of some of the stories we’ve followed this week, we’ve put together a synopsis of some of the more intriguing stories that have come out this week. And, yes, we’ll do the same thing every weekend.

In an attempt to make this site more well rounded, we’re starting a new series here at First Arkansas News.
What’s the deal? What kind of series? What’s it all about? Well, that’s pretty simple — we’re adding some religion columns.
Specifically, we’ve got an Assemblies of God minister, a Baptist preacher and a couple of Methodist pastors committed to providing columns from time to time. Why? Well, that’s a component that’s been pretty well absent from this site and we’d like to be inclusive.
