Week in review (Feb. 7-13)

What a strange week it was here in Arkansas. Some parts of the state got over two feet of snow on Wednesday and Thursday and the temperatures here in central Arkansas on Sunday were in the 60-degree range.
Ah, but that’s the thing about the Natural State, isn’t it? If you don’t like the weather, give it a few minutes and it will change.

A look at baseball both then and now

It’s been said more than a few times — to truly appreciate the game of baseball, one must have an understanding of the history of the game.
Apparently, the same is true when it comes to writing about baseball.
