Arkansas appraisers hate it, Realtors have lobbied hard for it and now it’s cleared the state Legislature.

Making improvements to your home may increase its value when the time comes to sell it, but perhaps not in the way most people think.
Some people are under the impression that they’ll get a “dollar to dollar” return on an investment should they opt to improve their homes – a $15,000 kitchen renovation should translate into a $15,000 boost in the sales price, right?
