According to AAA in St. Louis, holiday travel will be on the rise this Christmas season — part of a trend that started months ago.
AAA spokesman Mike Right said holiday travel has been up all year long, explaining that his organization saw more travelers hit the road starting on Memorial Day and have seen that increase has held through the Fourth of July and Thanksgiving. The AAA projects that more travelers will hit the road through Christmas and New Year’s Day, too.
