Speed Gibson

What would a series dedicated to old time radio serials be without some attention paid to a juvenile adventure program?

Those “kids on adventures” things were big back when OTR was king, and one of the more popular programs in the genre was the ambitiously named Speed Gibson of the International Secret Police. Yes, Speed was your average American boy — interested in short wave radios, aviation and fighting crime on an international scale.

Indeed, speed and his friends flew around the globe, righting wrongs and generally keeping the evil Octopus and his gang from causing too much havoc. Great fun? You’d better believe it. Click on the below links and enjoy an episode or two, won’t you?
