Solo: A Star Wars Story arrives in United Kingdom cinemas on 25 May 2018. Meanwhile, Stephen Daldry is reportedly in negotiations for a different standalone movie based on the character Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Previously it was reported that Chronicle director Josh Trank and X-Men: Days of Future Past writer/producer Simon Kinberg were working on a Fett movie, but that project fell apart due to a number of factors. People wanted to know more about the pale-skinned individual, and she went on to have a lengthy tenure in various forms of media that are now considered part of the Star Wars Legends continuity. Kinberg and Mangold are close, however, and the two worked on Logan, the X-Men spinoff that earned high praise past year.
Fortunately, it seems the Boba Fett movie has been resurrected, sources confirm to EW.More news: Events around Carroll County set to honor Memorial Day

The reveal comes as Disney and Disney-owned Lucasfilm prepare for the release of the latest Star Wars stand-alone film, Solo: A Star Wars Story. The character made his true mark on the Star Wars fandom in The Empire Strikes Back and has been a fan favorite ever since. This is largely because its urge to illuminate all the familiar details of Han Solo's character in the original franchise (his blaster! the Millennium Falcon! doing the Kessel Run in under 12 parsecs!) ultimately remove any sense of mystery surrounding his first solo outing.
Boba Fett was also featured in the Star Wars prequels along with his "father" Jango Fett. Logan also provided Boba Fett's voice in The Clone Wars animated series.
