On The Late Show on CBS, host Stephen Colbert joked of the break with tradition, "Now we just have to destabilize Antarctica, and we'll have global-crisis bingo". In the days before the embassy opening, however, Trump supporters reportedly felt vindicated by the relative lack of violence.
"In response to moving the embassy, deadly violence has broken out, but according to the US ambassador to Israel, the act of moving the embassy sends the message to Israel that 'you are not alone, '" said Colbert.
While Trump has been unable to make many of those promises a reality, one that has come true is moving the United States embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. We were granted a president who knows this truth without reservation, who declares to all peoples and religions: "Jerusalem is the capital of Israel".
Since then, Kushner and different senior administration officers have insisted they're forging forward on crafting a peace proposal and have sought to border the President's Jerusalem resolution as one that's fostering the fitting situations for peace.
After Kushner's speech saying people would remember that day as part of a "journey to peace", Colbert said "we'll see if there's peace but we'll definitely remember".More news: WWE Raw: Two Money in the Bank qualifiers announced

"Sounds strong. I think he's got a little cold".
"We imagine that it's attainable for each side to achieve greater than they provide so all individuals can reside in peace, secure from hazard, free from worry and capable of pursue their goals", Kushner stated. It's like the saying: "when the house is finally burned down we will look back and remember that this journey started when we chose to install a deep-fat fryer in the living room".
"The White House is turning into the [Jared] Kushner piggy bank and the Trump piggy bank", Ward said, in the interview with Amy Goodman of "Democracy Now".
"Whereas presidents earlier than him backed down from their pledge to maneuver the American embassy as soon as in workplace, this President delivered".
