In addition to the game's first big update next week, which adds the returning monster Deviljho and makes an assortment of balance changes to nearly every weapon type, players have a few new events to look forward to in the near future.
After the recent announcement of the launching of the latest update for Monster Hunter World, the most awaited free character edit voucher is now available; players can download the free content on the PlayStation and Xbox stores. The first quest - available from April 13th to the 27th - will allow players to earn tickets to craft the Mega Man Palico gear announced a few months back.
Every week is something new for Monster Hunter World. According to Capcom, "Bring Deviljho materials to the Workshop and they'll be able to craft 2 complete armor sets-Vangis α and Vangis β-as well as a new entry in each of the 14 existing weapon types, including brand new Deviljho designs for Sword and Shield, Hunting Horn, Bow, Insect Glaive and Charge Blade!". The event will begin April 5th at 5pm PT and end April 18th at 5pm PT. Oh, and food! You can't have a party without food, so we've added a special new platter too.
Aside from the presence of Deviljho, which is classified as a Brute Wyvern that will yield specific parts for creating special armor, there will also be a Spring Blossom Fest.More news: Where were the police? West Ham owner slams stadium security

For those waiting for a chance to change their character's appearance, today is the day, as Capcom is rolling out the first Character Edit Voucher.
Great Sword: increased the damage for Charged Slash abilities. This is basically where players interrupt the harvesting or skinning process of others by throwing bombs or attacking them. Each player will be given one free voucher, which will allow for players to edit their character's gender and physical appearance. We already know that the monstrous Deviljho would be arriving in the Ancient Forest area of the game in Spring 2018, after Capcom showed off artwork of the Deviljho picking up the Great Jagras - an impressive feat considering the Great Jagras can be a formidable opponent to the uninitiated on its own.
