With snow falling in the tri-state area Wednesday, a few Jets executives leaped at the opportunity to visit Los Angeles for USC QB Sam Darnold's pro day.
Darnold said he had met with representatives from the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants, including Browns owner Jimmy Haslam.
Darnold was pleased with performance at the conclusion of the workout and noted that the rain didn't affect him.
"Just being aware of all those little things and then coming out here and ripping it".
Darnold isn't expected to be available to many teams, and certainly not by the time Arizona would pick at 15th overall.More news: Trump asks Saudi prince to share kingdom's wealth through arms deal

Schefter said coaches from the Cleveland Browns, who own the No. 1 pick in this year's draft, were also on hand to check our Darnold. While the draft is always unpredictable, it seems the Browns will pick the No. 1 quarterback on their board with the top pick.
This is not an exercise in repetition either, as Darnold did not throw at the NFL Scouting Combine.
"It was going out and proving what I've proved on tape", Darnold said on the NFL Network's broadcast of the workout. "I thought I did a pretty good job".
Some teams near the top of the draft might prefer the throwing mechanics of UCLA's Josh Rosen, or the stature and best-in-class arm strength of Wyoming's Josh Allen, or the moxie and accuracy of Oklahoma's Baker Mayfield.
While there is no clear consensus, many have Darnold leading the pack. Darnold threw for almost 3,000 yards and 39 touchdowns as a senior in that 2014 season with 785 yards and 13 touchdowns rushing. "This is icing on the cake".
