WWDC 2018 will be Apple's 29 such conference and will be held at the McEnery Convention Centre in San Jose.
Apple uses the conference to share perspectives and learn bout the future of Apple's products and services.
Apple Developer Program and Apple Developer Enterprise Program members have until March 22nd to register through the WWDC website for a chance to buy tickets. Apple will then randomly select developers who can then purchase a ticket for $1,599. Apple held its annual event at the Moscone Center in San Francisco from 2003 through 2016. Indeed, there'll be everything from Apple TV software through to Apple Watch, with sessions that dig into Apple's various APIs that offer developers integration with Siri, HomeKit, MusicKit, Apple Health, and more. At last year's WWDC, Apple showed off upgraded iPads, the HomePod speaker, new Macs, and software-based enhancements for iPhones and Macs.
Apple says that the company is also providing "up to" 350 free tickets through its WWDC student scholarship program.
Although Apple didn't outline exactly what it plans to cover, the conference in past years has served to showcase the company's next major software releases including iOS, macOS and watchOS.
