Spacey and Wright were two of the driving forces behind the show's success, playing a ruthless political couple that coldly ruled D.C. social circles. While not much has been revealed about their characters as of yet, we do know that they'll play siblings.
A month later, CNN reported that eight people who now and previously worked on "House of Cards" described the work environment as "toxic", with one source claiming Spacey sexually assaulted him during an early season of the show.

Throughout the series, Spacey's Frank Underwood frequently broke the fourth wall to address viewers directly, sharing his innermost thoughts. Plus, with some of the accusations against Spacey coming from the House of Cards crew, there was no way he'd have ever been allowed back on that set.
Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear will join returning cast members Michael Kelly, Patricia Clarkson, Constance Zimmer, Jayne Atkinson, Derek Cecil and Campbell Scott. It also announced that the sixth season would mark the end of this series.
House of Cards will be Lane's first TV series regular gig.
Cards shut down October 31 after about two weeks of production near Baltimore, and it was initially unclear whether the show would be scrapped entirely.
But the streaming service announced Wednesday that production had resumed on the series, for what would be an eight-episode final season.
