The sophomore quarterback announced on Twitter Friday afternoon his intention to transfer from the Bulldogs. He didn't specified where he will transfer. Browning would hold on to his job, obviously, in 2018 and then give way to Eason the next season and he would then have two years of eligibility. He will have to sit out 2018, but with Jake Browning a senior, he will have a great shot to the starting job in 2019. He passed for 2,430 yards and 16 touchdowns with just eight interceptions as a true freshman and completed 55 percent of his throws.
Eason, who started for the Bulldogs last season and was the team's starter in Week 1, suffered a knee injury that knocked him out of the team's season opener against Appalachian State. With Fromm's success, Georgia will apparently lose arguably one of the best quarterbacks in the SEC to the Pac-12.
Eason was recruited heavily by UW but had made an oral commitment to Georgia well before signing day. After Fromm's breakout performance at Notre Dame and witnessing incredible moments throughout the season, Eason quickly realized his new role.
Eason was a top recruit in the 2016 class, regarded as the No. 2 pro-style quarterback in the country by 247Sports.More news: SpaceX postpones 'static test' fire of Falcon Heavy engines

It is still not confirmed where he will be transferring but rumors have claimed he will be going back to his home state of Washington. That forces Eason to transfer in order to find playing time.
"That's football", Eason said in December.
I think we all knew it would come to this. Despite the unfortunate circumstances, he really bonded with Fromm and worked hard to help him prepare for the games.
