Reliance Jio seems to be on a roll. The telecom operator recently launched two new prepaid plans worth Rs 199 and Rs 299.
-Rs 198: Under this plan, Jio now offers 28GB of 4G data for 28days, but post-Jan 9 - after Jio updates the plans - the plan will offer 42GB of data for the same duration - 28 days. This prepaid recharge plan comes bundled with free and unlimited local, STD and roaming calls. The decision exclusively under the Happy New Year 2018 offer. Under the plan, Jio will offer 84GB of data for 84 days. The new offer puts FUP of 1GB daily. Clients get 100 free SMS for daily, which is approximately 2800 instant messages in a month.

Starting with Airtel's revised tariff plans, it's most popular unlimited plan is Rs. 448 plan which was valid for 70 days previously, the plan's validity has now been increased to 82 days. As Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, Idea, Vodafone and BSNL fight for market share, prepaid phone recharges are being revamped with more data and unlimited talktime to lure customers. For starters, Airtel Rs 399 plan now offers 70GB data with a validity of 70 days. Last but not least, Airtel users benefit from 91GB data and a validity of 91 days at Rs 509.
