The companies that are teaming up with Amazon's voice assistant plan on going beyond the microwave oven as they are creating other appliances that link up with Alexa. LG too has confirmed that its 2018 TVs will ship with the Google Assistant built-in in select markets.
Hisense has now been using its own TV platform on its smart TVs, with some running the Roku operating system. Rather than focusing primarily on how to sell devices to new customers, vendors will look to things like advertising, content subscription, premium services or enterprise products to monetize their installed base of current users.
It sounds like a useful area for Amazon to expand Alexa's reach, since people often have their hands full while cooking and appliances' interfaces are often pretty cramped and confusing.
As users would use other Alexa devices, the Hisense Smart TVs will enable the user to perform various actions using only their voice.
Hisense isn't the only major TV manufacturer to announce smart assistant integration in its latest lineup.

The TV remote of Comcast Xfinity Home also is voice enabled, transforming that remote to a central smart home control point.
"The move by Amazon, which right now does very little advertising on the Echo, could mean big things for consumer companies that are fretting their influence on a voice-powered shopping experience", CNBC claimed in their report, adding that, "With Alexa's clout anticipated to rise, brands are anxious about being left out of the voice-shopping platform entirely".

Hisense has not specified which models will have Amazon Alex however in October past year, Hisense announced it is releasing a 100-inch 4K laser TV which will have Alexa.
Meanwhile, in June previous year, the City of Cape Town congratulated Hisense for producing its millionth television and millionth fridge at its factory in Atlantis.
