Pizza Hut clearly realized that: The delivery giant is testing a service that will deliver beer with your pie.
When it expands the program beyond Phoenix, Pizza Hut expects to vary the menu according to regional preferences, a company executive told CNBC.
"We know that beer and wine go great with pizza and we're uniquely positioned to deliver these given many of our restaurants already serve beer and wine", said Stacy Lynn Bourgeois, Pizza Hut's director of brand marketing.

The hope is that by adding beer and wine to its delivery menu, the company will have an extra edge over competitors.
Pizza Hut now sells wine and beer at many in-store locations.
While beer and wine delivery pilot is beginning with just one downtown Phoenix location. Customers will be required to show their IDs at the door.
Pizza Hut will also have to make sure that all its drivers that deliver beer and wine are 21 years of age or older.
