Raisa and Elle Fanning presented Gomez with the Woman of the Year Award, and Gomez used her speech as an opportunity to thank her friend, yet another time, for donating her kidney. The "Wolves" crooner was asked about her decision to sign onto the project, but basically said nothing with her response. "I am so grateful for all the older women who have lifted all of us up, because I couldn't be here without all of you", Gomez added.

"It was so positive for our friendship", she says about the operation.
