Announced Saturday, the update that arrives on September 29 will add Daisy to the roster of playable characters, a new world featuring nine levels titled World Star and a new mode called Remix 10 which remixes existing levels for a new challenge, Polygon reported. Daisy will be Super Mario Run's seventh playable character, not counting the Yoshi color variations.
If all that weren't enough, the September 29th Super Mario Run update has even more in store for fans.
The major update adds a new mode, Remix 10. The mode is called Remix 10, and it lets you play through 10 bite-sized sections based on the game's existing worlds.More news: Multiple people injured in shooting at Tennessee church

The most notable addition in the upcoming update is World Star, a new game world that consists of nine levels.
Remix 10 will give players a chance to collect new items to decorate their Mushroom Kingdom. "In the game, Mario runs forward on his own, but relies on the touch of a single finger to jump over obstacles, avoid pesky enemies and capture the flag pole to complete levels", said Nintendo. Despite amassing a reported 150 million downloads, it seems that consumers were hesitant to shell out the $9.99 required to unlock the full version of Super Mario Run. Apple users can get the update and cheaper price this week, on September 29. This must have been in the cards for some time now, but whatever the case may be, it's satisfying to see Nintendo following through on its initial promise of support after the game's release rather than going back and proving critics right by essentially rendering the game dead on all counts.
And if you're wondering what the headphones are about in the main image, Nintendo is including the option to listen to your own music while playing the game too.
