Now you can post your Facebook story directly from the Instagram App and some users of the popular photo sharing app.
While Facebook still dwarfs other social media sites in terms of news dissemination, Twitter, Snapchat and YouTube made strong gains in the number of people using the sites for news over the course of the past year.
Three months later the site added a live video functionality to Instagram Stories. However, it's also possible that Facebook is starting to realize users actually do want Stories - just not in every app. It is still not clear if or when Instagram plans to launch the feature officially.
In a statement to the site, an Instagram spokesperson said, "We are always testing ways to improve the experience on Instagram and make it easier to share any moment with the people who matter to you".More news: McConnell to support Trump-Democratic deal on debt ceiling, Harvey

Navarra's screenshots show that Instagram users will be able to see an additional option to share their Story to Facebook. On Facebook, they'll look no different than typical Stories, as if they were created right inside the app, but users will know where it originated because each will have an "Instagram" mark under the user's name and photo.
Stories has now been integrated across all of Facebook's products including WhatsApp, Messenger and its core app. Both Apps have traditionally kept separate from the beginning.
Instagram is testing a new feature that will let people share Stories on its platform as well as Facebook simultaneously.
