Finally, jurors were asked if they or anyone in their immediate family are fans of Taylor Swift, and if they had recently listened to our purchased any of her music.
Swift wore a white dress with a black jacket on Monday as the eight-member jury is chosen from a pool of 60 prospects.
David Mueller was sacked from his job at a country and western station after Swift's team told his boss that he had grabbed her buttock during a meet-and-greet before a 2013 concert. "It was not an accident, it was completely intentional, and I have never been so sure of anything in my life", she said during a deposition.
The case went to court after Mueller sued Swift, claiming her false accusation cost him his job at a country music station. The "Shake It Off" singer countersued, saying in court papers that he "intentionally reached under her skirt, and groped with his hand an intimate part of her body in an inappropriate manner, against her will, and without her permission".
Swift says she will donate any money she receives to charities.

The photo of that meet-and-greet, which was leaked a year ago and shown in court on Tuesday, will be a central piece of evidence in the trial.
Swift confirmed that they did inform the manager of KYGO management about the supposed incident, but she denied that she demanded for his ousting. On the night in question, Mueller and his girlfriend were escorted out of the Pepsi Center arena once Swift told security she had been inappropriately touched.
Potential jurors were asked whether they were fans of Swift or Mueller.
"The contention that Mr Mueller lifted up Ms Swift's skirt and grabbed her bottom, while standing with his girlfriend, in front of Ms Swift's photographer and Ms Swift's highly trained security personnel, during a company-sponsored, VIP, backstage meet-and-greet, is nonsense", wrote his lawyer in court documents.
Jury selection ended for the day and will resume Tuesday.
In addition to Swift, Mueller named her mother and a member of her team as defendants in the lawsuit. She says she wants to hold Mueller accountable and is seeking $1. She is also a defendant in Mueller's case.
Mueller claims that Swift mistook him for someone else.
