Blizzard's cash cow that is Hearthstone is preparing to drop its next expansion upon worthy competitors next Thursday, August 10. That's when the digital card game's chilly new expansion, Knights of the Frozen Throne, will release for PC and mobile. Blizzard will introduce Legendary Hero cards that act in a similar fashion to the World of Warcraft expansion, which gave players the option to make a DeathKnight, expect in HearthStone when the card is played, it turns their normal hero, into a DeathKnight with new abilities. Knights of the Frozen Throne is the second out of the three expansions planned this year, following the dinosaur-themed Journey to Un'Goro. This change affords them new, devastating powers. The expansion adds a number of new features to the game, most notably a series of free single-player missions.
Blizzard has altered the way it rolls out single-player Adventures.
The title of the expansion will be a familiar one for longtime Warcraft fans, with its theme revolving around the Frozen Throne and Prince Arthas's transformation into the Lich King.More news: North Korean Missiles Add Urgency To Hiroshima A-Bomb Appeals
