Then you type in the amount to send, and confirm the payment. The PayPal rates are exactly the same as they would be if you used its peer-to-peer payments on other platforms. Skype has teamed with PayPal in hopes to be your go-to app for paying back friends. The iPhone maker is also introducing Apple Pay Cash, which you can use to send to someone or spend with Apple Pay in stores, in apps, and on the web. To send money, you'll need to be using the latest version of Skype for Android or iOS but, confusingly, you can send money to somebody using any version of the messaging app.

Send Money is supported in the U.S. Canada, United Kingdom, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain, according to the two companies.
