Weekend OTR — Cisco Kid

By: 5 July 2013 No Comment

Cisco KidIt’s another weekend and that means it’s time for another installment in  our Weekend OTR series.

Our visit to the wide, wonderful world of old time radio brings us to the great Southwest to follow the exploits of that Latino Robin Hood, the Cisco Kid. Indeed, the Cisco Kid was more than just the subject of a song by War, so get ready for some great entertainment thanks to a show that was quite popular during the Golden Age of Radio.

Before you listen to this week’s program that, why not take a minute or two and visit the good folks at OTRCat.com? You’ll find a huge selection of old time radio programs over there and prices that are hard to beat. Oh, and don’t forget to come back every Sunday and check out the latest Lum and Abner comic strip posted here at First Arkansas News. We’ve got a new one of those every weekend and it’s just the thing for you old time radio fans — new adventures starring a couple of Arkansas boys who became international stars during the Golden Age of Radio.

Having said all of that, click the below link to listen to this week’s program.
