Elvis Week set for Aug. 10-17 at Graceland in Memphis

By: 17 June 2013 No Comment

Elvis Week 2013Mark those calendars, Elvis fans — Elvis Week 2013 is set for Aug. 10-17 at Graceland in Memphis (of course). Elvis Presley, of course, died on Aug. 16, 1977 at 42-years-old. The King has been gone for almost 36 years, but his legend continues.

What’s going on at Elvis week? Quite a few things, actually. Naturally there will be Elvis impersonators all over the place and Ronnie Millsap will be on hand for the event. There will be appearances from a lot of “Elvis insiders,” including Elvis’ drummer D.J. Fontana and Mother Delores Hart — an actress who starred with Presley in a couple of movies and then became a nun.
