Fourth of July OTR — The Meaning of Freedoms

By: 4 July 2012 No Comment

The Fourth of July is just about over, but this is a very good time to contemplate the significance of the holiday.

To that end, we’re presenting an old time radio episode of Father Knows Best that deals with that very topic. This episode is, perhaps, overly sentimental, but does make a valid point of two and is backed by the gentle humor for which the program was known, so it’s quite an entertaining episode and well worth a listen.

Before listening to the program, consider a thing or two. Any old time radio fan should click here and read the newest Lum and Abner comic strip. That’s an original series here at First Arkansas News and it is updated every Sunday. OTR fans are also encouraged to pay a visit to OTRCat.com. Why? Head on over and you’ll find out for yourself.

Having said all of that, click the below link to listen to the program.
