Weekend OTR: Casey, Crime Photographer — Thunderbolt

By: 12 November 2011 No Comment

Casey, Crime PhotographerYay! It’s another weekend and you know what that means — another installment in the famed Weekend OTR series here at First Arkansas News.

My, if there’s a better way to relax on a Saturday afternoon than to listen to a sparkling old time radio episode, I’m not sure what it is.

The episode at hand is from the Casey, Crime Photographer series. While Jack “Flashgun” Casey worked as a crime photographer for the newspaper The Morning Express, his real passion was for sleuthing. That’s right — ole Flashgun was one of those crusading journalist types that found a degree of popularity when OTR ruled the entertainment world.

Of course, any OTR fan will want to hang around First Arkansas News during the holidays — we’re going to have a ton of Thanksgiving and Christmas episodes up in November and December, so don’t miss out on that.

As usual, these episodes are courtesy of our friends at If an old time radio fan is on your Christmas list this year, why not visit The Cat and pick up a gift or two?

Click the below link to listen to the show, and make sure to stop by tomorrow to read the latest Lum and Abner comic strip.
