Living a Salt and Light Lifestyle, Part 2

By: 22 August 2011 One Comment

The Rev. Natasha Murray-Norman of Parkview United Methodist Church in Benton presented the second and final part of her “Living a Salt and Light Lifestyle” series on Aug. 14.

The pastor started at Parkview at the end of June and has shown a preference for targeting an overall theme and sticking with it through a series every now and again. For those interested in hearing the pastor in person, Parkview is located at 514 N. Border in Benton. Church services start at 10:45 a.m. and Sunday school starts at 9:45 a.m. The congregation at Parkview welcomes visitors and encourages people looking for a church home to stop in and see what the institution has to offer.

As usual during the summer, the choir is on break. Caleb’s Crossing, a group from Arkansas Tech in Russellville, was the musical guest on Aug. 14 (that band knows the subtle charm of a Fender Telecaster running through a delay pedal, by the way). You can visit Caleb’s Crossing on Facebook here.
