Weekend OTR: Indictment — Witness Who Wasn’t

By: 4 June 2011 No Comment

The weekend is here and it’s time for another installment in the famed Weekend OTR series here at First Arkansas News.

Before describing this week’s fun-filled show, it’s time to remind everyone that this is a big weekend indeed as the 34th Annual Lum and Abner Festival is taking place in Mena, Ark. If you’re an old time radio fan in the area, you really ought to spend some time in Mena this weekend.

And, of course, speaking of Lum and Abner, check out the comic strip under development at First Arkansas News if you haven’t already done so. We still need donations to buy the rights to publish the strip. Want to make a donation to that very worthy cause? Locate that “Donate” link in the right sidebar to send some cash through PayPal and click here to see what benefits you’ll receive as a proud donor.

Having said all that, here’s a little bit about this weekend’s old time radio show. Indictment was one of those dramas that focused on all the work that went into getting indictments against lawbreakers. This episode is, as usual, courtesy of our friends at Head on over there to see what’s on sale — you won’t regret your visit.
