‘First Arkansas News’ is one-year-old

By: 16 April 2011 3 Comments

That’s right — First Arkansas News was established on April 16, 2010 and is still going strong.

While this is a milestone, we’re not going to say too terribly much about it because there’s still a lot of work to do. The site has grown a lot over this past year, but it’s still quite young. In fact, the whole field of Internet-based journalism is still quite young and here’s hoping this site matures right along with it.

Of course, we’d like to thank the readers who stop by here regularly. While we’ve made a few enemies over the past year, we’ve made a lot more friends and we’re grateful for that.

Stay tuned. We’ve spent a year establishing the site, now it’s time to start working on defining what exactly our mission is. That ought to be fun.

    Congratulations on your anniversary!

    You’ve made a few enemies? I can’t imagine such a thing!

God bless you and your staff for an even better second year!

    Thanks, Donnie.

Yes, there are some folks who don’t care for some of the stories we’ve either written or not written.

    That’s just how it goes.

I figure we’ll attract some more friends, particularly after we launch that project you and I have been working on for the past couple of weeks. Exciting stuff — can’t wait to announce it!

Yeah! Let’s get people wondering what it is!

How about it, folks? Aren’t you curious?

    I know I am…
