Podcasting with Asa Hutchinson

By: 23 March 2011 No Comment

It’s been a bit since we updated the First Arkansas News podcast page.

Luckily, we’re updating in style with two interviews of Asa Hutchinson that were recorded by Steve Gibbs for Legal Aid of Arkansas.

Hutchinson, in both interviews, talks about why he believes pro bono work is so important and why all attorneys should volunteer to help everyone get equal access to the courts.

Hutchinson, after a couple of decades of public service, has settled in as an attorney in Rogers. You can read more about him here and learn about the free “An Hour with Asa” event that takes place from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday (March 24) at the Siloam Springs Senior Activities Center (click here for directions to that).

Hutchinson, in short, has become something of an unofficial spokesman for Arkansas Legal Services Partnership and has been heavily involved in donating his time to help the elderly with legal problems for a few decades.

Ah, but the podcasts. Click here to access our podcasting page to listen to those (or you could simply click here to subscribe to our podcast feed through iTunes).
