By: 20 November 2010 No Comment

Getting ready to travel or entertain a house full of guests? Getting geared up to cook a Thanksgiving meal, run crazy in the stores on Black Friday or do all those other things that are part of the Thanksgiving holiday?

Before all that starts, relax with the special Thanksgiving edition of the Weekend OTR series here at First Arkansas News. Yes, stop in daily to hear the latest Thanksgiving-themed old time radio episode as at least a new program will be posted here every day. If you’d like to see at the Thanksgiving episodes that have been posted, just click here for a convenient list.

So far, we’ve focused on Thanksgiving comedies. Well, it’s time for something a little different — a hardboiled detective show. Specifically, an episode of Let George Do It starring Bob Bailey (not George Bailey, mind you — that’s something completely different).

As always, this episode is brought to you by our friends at OTRCat.com. If you want to pick up a slew of old time radio episodes for mere pennies per program, think of The Cat. By the way, it’s like Black Friday every week over there as something is always on sale. So, get that credit card (or PayPal account) ready, click here and pay The Cat a visit, huh?

Having said all of that, click the below player to enjoy the show. And, yes, downloading is encouraged.
