‘Band Night’ in Benton

By: 18 October 2010 One Comment

Yes, it’s October and you know what that means — it’s time for the bands in Benton middle school, junior high and high school to take the field at C.W. Lewis and wow parents with their skills.

Every year, the aforementioned schools in Benton participate in Band Night. That was held tonight and a good time was had by all (well, the weather was ridiculous — 80 degrees at 7 p.m in October is a bit on the extreme side).

At any rate, back to Band Night. Want some amateurish, poorly-shot video of the event? You got it! The two below videos were shot with an Apple iPhone 4. While the video quality isn’t that great, the sound came out surprisingly well. The first video is of the eighth grade band playing the Hawaii Five-0 theme, while the second one is of bands from seventh grade through high school playing “You Really Got Me” and “Land of 1,000 Dances.” Enjoy!
