Weekend OTR — Burns and Allen: Gracie’s Murder Mystery

By: 24 July 2010 2 Comments

Oh, yeah!

As I mentioned yesterday, First Arkansas News is running detective old time radio programs all weekend long. Why? Because those are fun and cool, and a great excuse to play a few of them has popped up — OTRCat.com is having a great sale on detective programs.

Who am I to look a gift excuse in the mouth? Making the decision to play a few programs from The Cat’s massive vault just seems appropriate.

At any rate, the detective program for today is a comedy from the Burns and Allen series. What? Wacky Gracie turns sleuth? You’ve got to hear it to believe it.

If you missed yesterday’s episode, click here to check out an episode of the Bishop and the Gargoyle. Check back tomorrow for another detective-themed OTR program (that’s been posted and you’ll find a great Dragnet episode here).

So, adjust those head phones (or turn up those speakers), click the below link and enjoy today’s show.
