1,000 hits!

By: 27 April 2010 No Comment

That’s right — this site has been around for 11 whole days and we’ve already registered 1,000 unique hits.

That’s not a bad start.

A unique hit, by the way, is one visit from one person per day. That is to say, if a happy reader visits five, ten or 20 times in the same day, only one hit will be registered.

Unique hits, then, are the ones to count. We’ve had exactly 1,004 of those at the time of this writing and 1,798 total hits over the past 11 days (an impressive number, certainly, but it’s more than a bit dishonest to brag about that one too much).

In the weeks to come, expect to see even more writers submit material (you can always see who’s writing here by looking at the above “Who we are” page) and they’ll certainly keep submitting some top-notch articles. Meanwhile, I hope more people follow us on Twitter and Facebook to keep up with what we’re doing. Better yet, hopefully people will continue to make it a point to drop by and visit.

We’re just getting started here at First Arkansas News, so stay tuned…
